Strathaven Academy will host the annual One World Event

From 10 am - 12 noon FREE ENTRANCE
The Town's Fairtrade Group have invited along a number of suppliers of fair trade goods. Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of music, stalls and displays as well as Fairtrade refreshments.
- Stalls will include Traidcraft and Hadeel who specialises
in Palestinian items such as olive oil
- Music workshops will be run by Erick V Mauricia
- Try out some West African drumming
- Visit the "Going Bananas" displays by Strathaven Academy S3 and S4 pupils exploring the issues facing banana farmers in Costa Rica
- Local artist Caroline Ross will be displaying some of her recent work
- Also displays Hope 4 China, and Malawi
